Part Four
QUESTION: If EFT is so effective for helping people achieve a more successful life and in assisting them with personal development, why aren't more people using it?
ANSWER: New things take time to be integrated into our culture and our consciousness. It's happening fairly quickly, though. There are a growing number of people learning about this tool and being willing to avail themselves of this valuable resource.
The dynamic of EFT is a bit different from the usual resources people are used to using. So, one has to gain rapport with something so new, to begin to create a comfort level with it.
One of the dynamics that inhibits this process is that we have a tendency to need to fit in with society, to do what others do. So when we're doing something most of our neighborhood is not doing, we tend to be a little self conscious and hesitant to embrace it and weave it into our personal, day-to-day experience,
It's very beneficial, if you're bold enough and willing to use a tool like EFT that will facilitate a lot of change in your life, to be willing to be different and unique, to think outside the box, in a sense.
Just be wise about who you share it with, how much you share and how you share it. Get a sense of who would be open and supportive of what you're doing versus those who would be critical or approach EFT with putdowns or making fun of you for what you're doing.
Just be mindful of that. Be wise and supportive of yourself, and only share it with those that are interested, open and supportive.

In fact, that would be a good place to start, right there, if you have fears about using this tool and making it a part of self development, (what I referred to earlier as a “personal development training tool).
I'd suggest you start right there, by writing down your fears, your concerns, your negative thoughts around why this wouldn't work or what you believe others might think, essentially, what's keeping you from using EFT to better your life and enhance your daily experience.
I've personally found EFT to be one of the most valuable resources I have. One of the greatest things about it is, it's readily available.
All it takes is me. I've got it all in one package right here. The process itself can be applied, engaged in, just by being with yourself.
You have a set of hands. You have a face and torso. You've got the acupressure points. You don't need to have any special equipment, someone with years of experience to professionally guide you through it.
What can happen when you incorporate it as a process, when you make it a part of your lifestyle, is so simple, yet so profound. I
t's truly one of the most affordable, accessible resources we could ever have.
God Bless You,
