1. Remembering Children - Our Sacred Contract with Our Children

(Part One of a Three Part Series)

We have a sacred contract with our children. We have agreed to clean

up the dysfunctions of our generations so our children will not have

to. What this means is the limiting beliefs, negative emotions and

generational patterns that have been damaging our lives can be

removed. We no longer have to live in bondage to these conditions.

If we do not follow through with our sacred obligation, these

dysfunctions will pass down to our children growing more powerfully

destructive with each generation if they go unhealed.

As we clear the dysfunctional patterns of our lives we have an

opportunity to live co-consciously with God and to create lives in

which we thrive on all levels. We have an opportunity and obligation

to live by and teach our children principles; truths and life skills

that help them thrive as well.

Take a look at your life and the life of your family. How are you

doing? How are your children doing? What is going on that is out of

balance. Any aspect of your life that is in disharmony or out of

balance is meant to get your attention in the time in which we live.

This includes anything that is creating disharmony from addictions,

divorce, incessant fighting, immorality, depression, debt, disease of

all kinds, abuse, obsessive compulsive behaviors, mental illness,

war, just to name a few!

Consider the possibility that your life, and/or your children's

lives are raging with dysfunction so you will notice it. The point

is, God is calling us up to take care of it. For so long we have

believed these situations "happen to us." When in reality, we

"create them."

The problem is we have been unconscious for the most part of our

creating. We so easily fall into a victim mind-set when we do not

want to take accountability when we think the pain or problem is too

great.

We are creating our pain and disease as we continue to pour our

attention on our problems through our thinking and feeling. Whatever

we think a lot about or feel strong emotion towards, we create more

of in our lives. We continue to focus on the don't wants,

feeding and feeding them through the law of attraction, and then cry

"poor me" when the problems do not stop or they continue to

get worse.

We teach our children they are no more powerful than us and they too

must learn to survive. Survival has been the name of the game down

here on planet earth for the bulk of humanity. It is literally

written in our DNA. It is second nature to create drama and

difficulties subconsciously in our lives and then figure out how to

survive our hard lives.

We have been using our agency to survive when God gave us our agency

to create joy. It's time we put it to use consciously.

Living in our God-given truth of prosperity and joy takes an

incredible amount of conscious living. It requires us to be clear

and alert and in charge of our choices. Our choices of what we

think, what we speak, what we feel and how we behave. It requires of

us to be accountable. To own that what is showing up in our lives is

being attracted to us, by us.

Most adults move through their day-to-day life on default mode just

responding to what is showing up, living lives of mediocrity, and in

too many cases surviving a lot of pain, lack, and struggle.

We are designed for so much more - SO MUCH MORE. The dysfunction

continues to increase in intensity so we cannot ignore it anymore.

If your child or children are creating a lot of pain and drama in

their lives, rather than stand on the sidelines and judge and condemn

them, take responsibility for what you are not willing to see in your

self. It is screaming in their lives so you cannot ignore it for one

more generation.
