As you are out and about on your summer travels, pick-up any litter you notice and THROW IT AWAY. Rather than think, someone else will take care of it, be the one who does. Even in the public restrooms you use, grab a paper towel to keep the germs off, and pick up the papers on the floor and trash them. I have spent the last week on the North Shore of Oahu, HA, and every morning when I go out for a jog or go to the beach, I fill a plastic grocery bag with trash. I figure if we all picked up the litter, we would stop creating the litter, because we would figure it out, we are just going to pick it up later anyway.
